SAFARI PEACH TREE, grafted

- Suited to Gauteng and Freestate climate
- Shape: Oblong/round with a slight point
- Red skin on yellow background
- Yellow flesh, with red stone cavity, melting, slightly coarse and soft texture.
- Very good sweet taste
- Upright growth, up to 4m x 3,5m, can be pruned smaller.
BLOSSOM: Late August.
HARVEST: December.
POSITION: at least 6 hours of sun a day, suitable for large pots.
SOIL TYPE: Well drained soil, pH 6-6,5
WATERING: 2 – 3 times a week in the summer, depending on heat and rainfall, once every 10days in the winter.
PRUNING: Towards end of winter to shape, remove dead branches, and improve airflow.
BEARING: 2 years from planting out.
CLIMATE: Medium chill hours, cold winters, warm to hot summers.
FERTILISER: 3-2-1 three times during the summer.
